A Spontaneous Weekend in London

Last weekend I went on a spontaneous trip to London. If you've been here for a while, you'll remember my last trip to London, in which I was really, really sick for my best friend's 21st. Yeah, that was pretty lame. I saw none of the sights of London and hardly left the AirBnb. This time I wanted to actually get out and be touristy! It was a decent enough weekend for weather in the end of January. We only had a little rain and it was cool but not freezing. Unfortunately Big Ben was getting worked on but I got to run around the city and see tons of other amazing sights!

I'll admit that after having lived in Europe for several years and visiting a bunch of different countries that London might be a little underwhelming in comparison. But I was so pleasantly surprised! The architecture was stunning and there were so many wonderful places to eat that you don't get in Ireland. It was such a fun weekend and I'm so glad I went for it so last minute!

Rather than put this blog post off because I don't have the time, I'm just gonna throw all of the photos together in no particular order and take you on a visual journey, if you will. Enjoy!

My favourite part of the weekend was definitely the Camden market. There was so much to do and see and the food was amazing! I would definitely go back to London for another visit, and it's made me more interested in seeing more of England as a whole.
